Dry Verge Installation in Castleknock

A brick house in Castleknock with tiled roofs on the main house, a rear extension and a side lean-to.

The Job

About This Dry Verge Job

A brick house in Castleknock with tiled roofs on the main house, a rear extension and a side lean-to. We fitted a dry verge system along the gable edges of each roof.

The interlocking caps are fixed mechanically rather than bedded in mortar, so there is no mortar to crack or wash out, and the roof edges stay sealed against wind-driven rain. The dark caps match the roof tiles.

What We Did

  • Dry verge on every gable edge
  • Main roof, extension and lean-to
  • Caps matched to the roof tiles
  • No mortar at the verges
